THE RECIPE

The Amaro di Siena was born from the discovery of an ancient recipe during the restoration of an old farmhouse located among the Sienese hills, when an entrepreneur stumbled upon a pile of old books.

Many present themselves worn by time, but one in particular stands out for its integrity.

"It is an ancient and dusty volume but incredibly well preserved. A Bible from the 18th century that contains a manuscript in archaic Italian."

The book was written by an anonymous alchemist of the time and contains a detailed list of formulas for preparing herbal drinks with beneficial properties.

"From the very beginning, the value of this precious discovery was recognized, as the ancient text represents a direct connection with the herbal traditions of that time. A cultural heritage to be safeguarded."

In recent years, the Sienese entrepreneur has patiently and dedicatedly devoted himself to studying those recipes, working closely with experts in the field and professionals in the sector.

The most significant recipe that stands out for its authenticity is the one that contains Verbena, a symbol of Siena and the historic Piazza del Campo.

THE SPIRIT

"Here is born the Amaro di Siena, conceived with the intention of restoring taste and flavor to the past, through the elaboration of a product that respects the characteristics of the historical Sienese tradition."

'After careful analysis and over forty laboratory tests conducted by industry professionals, the recipe has finally been recreated.'

The result is a liqueur that faithfully captures the authentic flavors and rich traditions of its historical roots, reflecting the deep commitment invested in creating a unique product, a child of its land.

THE NAME

"Amaro di Siena" and "Spirito del Campo" are two names that evoke distinctive and significant aspects.

The goal was to choose a name that conveyed authenticity and identity, immediately evoking the city and its territory, capable of creating emotions strong enough to make it a shared symbol, loved by all Sienese and anyone connected to Siena and the world of alcoholic beverages.

The unmistakable attachment of the recipe to its land of origin has made this process almost automatic. Naturally, the aromatic herbs of the land of Siena infuse into a liqueur that proudly bears the name of its city.

"Amaro di Siena" emphasizes the connection of the liqueur with its roots, "Spirito del Campo" immediately ties itself to the jewel of Siena, the wonderful Piazza del Campo, and evokes the unique social and cultural soul of our city, admired all over the world.
